The project manager will immediately acknowledge receipt of your documentation and process it for analysis. They are responsible for the coordination of translators, proofreaders, specialists and graphic designers, as well as for the planning of the project’s execution. During the implementation of the project, they will keep you updated and provide you with information and assistance. They will also make arrangements with you regarding the deadlines, specific needs, and other details.
The technical team will analyse the materials and prepare them for translation. If you send us the materials by fax or regular post, we will convert it into an electronic form, where the files sent by e-mail are converted into a form suitable for translation. Within 30 minutes of receiving the materials, we will send you an exact quote for the translation.
After the order has been confirmed by you, we select the most experienced translator for your project. The main criteria are the target language and the field of the text to be translated. For larger projects, we put together a team of translators and prepare the files for team work with a common translation memory. That way, we assure consistency of the entire text as well as reduce the costs and necessary time of the translation process.
During the translation process, the translators collaborate with a specialist for the professional field in question. The expert monitors the terminology and prepares a glossary of more complex terms. The glossary serves as an aid for the translators during the current and all subsequent projects, thus raising the quality of the translation. The glossary is also adapted to your requirements and the terminology you use.
After the translation process, the text is forwarded to the proofreader, who is always a native speaker of the target language. The proofreader takes care of the stylistic and linguistic accuracy, and adapts the text to the target audience.
After the proofreading stage, the translation goes to the multi-stage check with specialized software. At this stage, we resolve any technical deficiencies and take care of all the details that might escape the human eye.
After the linguistic part of the project is complete, it is the graphic designers’ turn. They provide the graphical design of the text and take care of all the graphical elements in the translation. If you sent us materials with an elaborate graphic design to be translated, our designers will make sure, with the help of professional software, that the identical design will also be retained in the translation. The translated materials will thus be ready for printing or distribution.
Finally, the final product is resent to the proofreader, who compares it with the original. He/she pays attention especially to the formatting and graphic design. In cooperation with the graphic designer, any deficiencies will be resolved and the file sent to the project manager.
The project manager will send you the final translation within the agreed deadline. Also after the completion of the project, do not hesitate to come back to us with any questions you might have with regard to the translation. We will gladly help you.
